This has been a very difficult and uninspired meal plan.  Daniel is going through another phase of not eating much, so I don’t feel like having fabulous meals (ha ha) rejected.  I’m trying to just serve simple things this week and not take his food rejection personally.

Daniel’s cousins, Nadia and Selena, came over tonight, and they all had a blast.  Nadia plays the viola at her school, so Daniel finally got to see a “violin”!!!  Nadia actually let him hold it and try to play.  What a great night.

Aren’t they beautiful???  Today Daniel and I drove out to MercyFarm to try out some Jersey cow milk and goat milk.  The owner, Joanne Wilson, took us around to meet the animals.  We really enjoyed our time there, and Daniel got a good look at farm life.  Thanks, Shannon, for telling us about them!

Monday
Soft boiled egg, yogurt, fruit puree.   Turkey, cottage cheese, rice crackers.   Blue corn tacos, strawberries & cream.
Tuesday
English muffins w/homemade cinnamon honey cream cheese, yogurt.  Turkey, pears, cottage cheese.  Roast chicken, green beans or sauteed spinach, homemade rolls. 
Wednesday
Brown rice apple pancake balls.  PB&J, strawberries.  Chicken and dumplings, salad.

Menu Plan Monday

Daniel’s new food love this week is some goat cheese that we got at Whole Foods.  Whenever he goes there with me he likes to sample a cheese.  He really enjoys the “capricho de cabra” on his veggie rice crackers.
