Okay, I am officially entering the world of blogging, thanks to the gentle prodding from my dear friend, Maggie.  I am thoroughly excited that I actually made butter (and buttermilk) yesterday for the first time! Thanks to my new friend, Holly Peevyhouse, for encouraging me and telling me that it is really easy.  It is!  I just happened to read this description of what to do right before I was ready to make it:  http://www.frugalgranola.blogspot.com/ (see the post on June 21).  I  used a pint of Swan’s raw heavy cream and 1/2 teaspoon of Real Salt, and it came out perfect!  I hope more people are brave and try it! I am going to try to post my pictures.
