I’m trying to use some of the stuff from our garden, so I made a batch of pesto today.  I am happy because I finally found a recipe that does not use cheese!  -This one had basil and parsley (from the garden) and lemon juice, olive oil, salt. It is really good.  We put it on red potatoes since those are allowed occasionally on the candida cleanse.  We also had homegrown tomato salad with mini mozzarella balls and some chicken with black beans and salsa.  Yes, it was another one of my strange dinners… a little mexitalian!  Oh well, I am trying to learn to use what I have.  I also made some sauerkraut this weekend, but it has to ferment a little longer before I can taste it.  I can’t wait.
